Due to the demand for cast iron straight staircases, Villa d’Or started to redesign the Lille staircase being attracted by the charm of this unique model. The staircase was offered by a French antique dealer in the region of Lille mentioning the staircase came from an old French brewery located in Northern France.

Over the years the staircase became a real success which allowed Villa d’Or to develop a Lille de Luxe version equipped with risers. Not much later an (intermediate) landing followed, which makes it possible to create a quarter turn or even more.

The Lille model staircase can even easily be custom-made by designing treads and/or riser with other dimensions and/or motifs.
