Spiral staircase VERSAILLES

Share

The Versailles spiral staircase is a silent witness to the work of French art foundry E. Capitain-Gény & Cie, founded in 1875. In 1889, the factory won a medal at the Exposition Universelle of Paris, with monumental pieces and works of art.

In the garden of an architect in Versailles, Villa d'Or found three steps (one broken) and balusters covered in earth and mud. The result was a beautiful new staircase.

With a diameter of 186cm, the Versailles is one of the largest models in the Villa d'Or collection with a high level of comfort.
